As you know, each year we suspend green waste collections over the Christmas and New Year period. Collections were scheduled to be suspended this year from next week for two weeks but unfortunately, due to operational difficulties we’ve had to suspend collections from this week (from 20 December). This is slightly earlier than planned but as set out rates are very low at during this time, only a small number of residents should be affected.
Our Communications Team are updating our website and social media pages.
We’d like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused but hope that residents will understand that this is due to issues beyond our control and will allow our collection crews to focus on ensuring that household waste and recycling bins are collected as usual in the run up to Christmas and beyond.
Green waste collections will restart w/c 9th January.
